fools rush in

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006

it’ sure is strange to me when people mad with love practically pop hearts as their eyes and moon over every conceivable love song saying that "Oh, damn. I can relate. (sigh)"

But it sure does feel more strange when it’s your turn to be a fool and jump when the love song say toad and cry when it sang a broken heart and believe forever as a fact when it say it is.

goosebumps

sometimes girls find, look (and often add) reasons to everything. and it’s so damn annoying.

and since explaining myself is one of the things I don’t quite love to do, "annoying" means really really annoying.

am just a simple-minded dude, so god, please have mercy on me.

grrr.

a friendster dilemma

Saturday, February 11th, 2006

I’d like to talk about Friendster since I got one and so does everybody I guess. Friendster, as you well know, has added some kicks and stuffs here and there to give us more leeway on personalizing our pages. Before, there were only templates and color themes for peeps to do away with. Now, there’s more, like tweaks in the background and contents and so on.

I dunno if people are happy with it. See, I don’t care about gaudy designs and all neither do I have any issues with us guys, getting creative and dirty with our pages but  there are just some stuffs which come on too strong.

A friend of mine stopped our conversation dead on its track because his customers in the cafe were all usin Friendster and we have to endure lags, cut voices and frequent downtimes. These days Friendster eats up too much internet bandwidth because of the contents like the youtube, music videos and stuffs which I believe visitors on your site might not even bother to look anymore. Why not, when it could take eons of precious internet minutes for your page to load? I don’t know about the teeming mass but my patience has its limits.

Also, your friendster is about you and I sure like to read about it, browse your picture and know whats going on with your life. So, if I am greeted with bad typography set amid a neon background with falling and exploding texts all vying for my attention at the same time, could you blame me if I close it instead. It would be helpful to note that maybe not all people have good vision and DSL connection and Pentium 4 processors and enough bucks to bear with such predicament.
